My office is located on the west end of my home. The office hours are flexible to accommodate
busy schedules. I am available most evenings and weekends.
My work often combines the benefits of deep tissue work
along with trigger point therapy and stretching the muscle tissue. I strive to work within each client's tolerance, "that
hurts so good" level.
For those who may not be familiar with the listed modalities, I'll offer a brief overview:
The
acupressure and chair massage allows a client to remain fully clothed while I work pressure
points to relax and release the muscle tissue. Fifteen minute chair massages are a great employee appreciation gift. It can
be offered on location or given as a gift certificate.
Reflexology is work done on the feet. I usually
include some acupressure work on the legs as well but clients remain dressed with the exception of socks and shoes!
For
deep tissue oil work, the client will undress and lie on the massage table between sheets. Extra sheets and
towels may be provided. Only parts of the body being worked will be exposed. The oil work allows me to glide into the tissue
as I assess trigger points and trouble spots.
I also work with pregnant clients through the stages of their pregnancy.
Massage can relieve fatigue, enhance sleep and calm an active baby (and a tired, expectant mom)!
